I liked it so I thought I'd see how you felt about it.
The morning light was coming through a space between the curtains and hitting the closet door knob just so. http://www.geocities.com/inky1_2000/Hpim0482.jpg |

two-na (edited Apr 21, 2009)
The light source shines from out in the periphery at an angle
(coming towards the wall; facing it from left). But before the light reaches the surface it passes through a semi-translucent(almost transparent) matter that scatters the light along its surface. Could the matter be water, and the rakes of light are due to the sub-surface scattering as a result? The light spotlights the small slit and the rim of the bolt enclosure, it is very hot; however, the light-source is far enough so that the cast shadow does not have a solid outline but is dynamically occluded into the wall. Interesting subject for a photo, thanks for sharing it. |
