This is the message I get when I try to submit a drawing or revise my last one
Error submitting image: connection reset by peer: socket write error response: (then I have an option with a box that says ok or I just close the message) Anyone know what this means? Sorry I had to open a new thread, I could not get the other to come up so people can see it again. |

is that when using any applet, or only one specific one? when you click ok to that message after trying to submit a drawing.. have you tried clicking draw right away again afterward, and then looking to see if it says you still have drawings to submit? I really have no idea what that message means, I am not gifted as Marcello is... I'm sure he could help you if we could get his attention somehow

Yes I have tried that Lori, nothing in the studio except my last one and that one should not be there at all anymore. It happens with every applet .

I'm sure you've done what lori said, but when I have probs, I always get the latest java and install it then reboot. I keep seeing what you write and I feel for you. So frustrating. :(

I have uninstalled java and reinstalled it, still can not submit drawings, and can not attach any files to my emails. Anyone else have any ideas?

We've probably asked before but have you sent a note to marcello to ask him?

sounds like something is wrong with your computer/internet connection/firewall...
do you have a firewall or any anti-virus? |

Mcafee for both, no viruses detected.

the fact that you cannot attach any files to your email leads me to believe something is seriously wrong with your computer... but it really depends on what you mean by that.
can you post to other oekaki sites or do they give the same error? |

This is what I have been told by a pc tech, that my router is going bad , if I disconnect my husbands pc and leave just mine connected to the internet I can draw and submit, and also attach pics to my e mails, but as soon as I connect his I can not do either, to me this is very confusing. Marcello, this is the only site I use to draw, does this make sense to you at all?

what do I know, but it does sound like the router if you can't have two pcs connected to the internet at once, that is the router's job after all... I would just get a new one and see if that solves the issue

I probably have to, just trying not to get one yet, this one I have now was over 200 dollars, untill then I will just have to plug and unplug my husbands pc. I wish Cello would tell me if he thinks this is possible, to me it still does not make sense, at first I thought the guy was joking lol, but he said no joke, that was his opinion for the problem.

Have you tried restarting your router? Most routers are pretty bad and need to be restarted regularly because they drop connections. You should be able to simply unplug the power to it (usually you want to unplug your network modem as well), wait a minute, then plug the power back in (you don't need to unplug the ethernet cables or cable/dsl cables).

Yes they do Flub for a fee, I bought my own , had it for almost 7 years now. Yes I do that once in a while Marcello, for now I will just unplug my husband's pc when I want to draw or send pics thru my e mail.
