This is from the kitchen again. I noticed this little bud bathing in the sunlight so I took a pic. It's actual size is a little smaller than the average fingernail.

It looks so soft with the light gently touching it.

Is it from a tree ? or house plant? I thought it was something with chocolate lol :)
Axil62 (Mar 13, 2009)
Ha, yeah I could see why. No, it's from a potted flower (some pink thing) that we've had for about a year now, I think.

It's quite interesting...especially the tiny 'root-looking' thingy on the bottom of it. The light is fab!!

I'll have to take a pic of the flower and draw it here sometime. Maybe someone will know what it is. I'm guessing the "bud" is some sort of stringer thingy that would plant itself under outdoor conditions and allow the flower to expand it territory? It's hanging down outside the pot.

I'd probobly be able to tell from the flower! it could be an orchid or something, but im guessing its more exotic or else you would have known.

ic...maybe it's a starter root or something..I'd love to see it in bloom.
On another note....you've got a GREAT view of the big sky according to your photo...I sure do miss seeing the big open sky like that...

Nice one Axil62...looks similar to a lotus bud but these are not indoor plants. Great job!
