Cool as usual, those shoes are great. Do you paint on canvas as well?
Kloxboy (Jan 10, 2009)
Thanks. I used to paint in oils a bit but it's been a while. I recently stocked up on supplies and plan on doing some painting soon.
davincipoppalag (Jan 10, 2009)
I wish we had a faves folder here.. this is another great Kloxwork
Cameo (Jan 10, 2009)
I would buy your paintings! As well as a few others on this website! Excellent job Klox! ;o)
elly (Jan 10, 2009)
I hope you do take some time to create on canvas! I paint on canvas (and anything else that will accept paint!) but, painting digitally is far less of a mess!! This draw is wicked cool!! Great blood effect and the alter ego coming out in rage!! Fab!! o_O
enjoydotcom (Jan 10, 2009)
I have virtually every possible traditional supplies in my home, even an easel. But I rarely used since I discovered digital drawing. Love the mess free feeling it gives.

The reason I asked is because I think your art would easily transfer to canvas/paper. And because I figured it would be sellable.
cyclops (Jan 10, 2009)
i also would buy your paintings, unless they were ridiculously overpriced, then i would just buy the prints.
LifeGotColour (Jan 10, 2009)
great work! i am amazed...your whole gallery is spectacular...
xiau (Jan 10, 2009)
...unless they were ridiculously overpriced...
I think even if the price were fair they'd be way way way out of my reach. Paintings this fantastic would certainly be expensive.
Another great one Klox, I love how you handled the blood spray. It has an amazing sense of motion to it.
lori (Jan 10, 2009)
thus, you should try to sell some paintings, I'd buy also - especially one of those 'focus' series you did
vlad.the.hamster (Jan 10, 2009)
Why are you so awesome? XD
Miss_DJ (Jan 10, 2009)
love the movement, the pants, the blood, the idea, the perspective. Yeah!
bette_davis_eyes (Jan 10, 2009)
outstanding piece clox! I love everything about about it
QTgillie (Jan 10, 2009)
oh my, this is awesome. you are very talented clox.
Flubbles (edited Jan 10, 2009)
Ladies, i doubt you would have anywhere to hang it.It would clash with your prints of flowers and grapes :p Its more of a piece for a london or new york studio.Great piece though, im liking these latest draws alot.
HiroDaZero (Jan 10, 2009)
I like how the hair strands point in opposite directions.
Flubbles (Jan 10, 2009)
That keeps the sense of balance hiro
QTgillie (Jan 10, 2009)
Flubbles, there is a sexist comment if I ever heard one.
Flubbles (edited Jan 10, 2009)
shouldnt you be doing the washing up woman? instead of commenting on here.
QTgillie (Jan 10, 2009)
no, actually my man does all of that.....he likes his LIFE!!
Flubbles (Jan 10, 2009)
I was only joking anyway, i have to do the washing or drying most days.
Axil62 (Jan 10, 2009)
QT: So, you're saying that if he doesn't do it, you'll make him miserable? Shit, I'd be out the fucking door in a minute. What a pussy.
QTgillie (Jan 10, 2009)
Axil, nah, just yanking FLub's chain. We actually divide stuff up pretty good, but if I am totally honest, I do get away with murder around here. I hate to cook, he likes it. He ruins the wash, so I do it. He does all the outside stuff. Dishes usually hang out until one of us (OR HEAVEN FORBID One of my boys pitch in) can't stand it anymore. Actual cleaning?....I have cleaning lady twice a month.....bad back. OK, now I think I have shared way too much info.
Pantera (Jan 10, 2009)
This is fantastic, great work, another showcase piece :)
Aakyra (Jan 10, 2009)
This is excellent! I agree with Pantera... this should be showcased, every detail is perfect!
montezmaria (Jan 11, 2009)
Very nice...love the splash at his foot and the way he seems to be moving. The expression on his face and movement face is so wonderfully done. Excellent work, wow.
DorsY69 (Jan 14, 2009)
The movement...and everything else, wow. Congrats on showcase!
firecracker (Jan 14, 2009)
This is just spectacular! I love your artwork....it's very "addictive".
Asriel (Jan 19, 2009)
no actual heart showing... but i really like it. especially the two faces.
Kloxboy (Jan 19, 2009)
The heart is there, Asriel, it's just taken a new form.
Alter.Native (Jan 27, 2009)
Awesome piece! I love how you blend realism and surrealism in your work without compromising anatomical correctness!
ItzChronic (Jan 27, 2009)
Looks like he's trying to kill his uhm... I guess alter ego is a good word for it. The face is the only thing that makes me want to dislike this painting, but only because of the angle of the jaw.

You do fantasmic work, by the way. :3
Suntan (Mar 12, 2009)
damndamndamn utterly awesome.
Axil62 (Feb 10, 2010)
skill.
Teapot (Apr 6, 2010)
How'd I miss this? I've been sitting here looking at it now for about half an hour. I wish it was bigger. I've gone through about four stages of thinking I understood the image...keep changing my mind. The death mask of the dying heart is terrifying. Powerful image and so beautifully rendered. That ribcage and foreshortened elbow are so lovely. I'm getting the same sense of horror from this that I felt during some of Jack Nicholson's mad scenes in The Shining.
staci (Jun 23, 2012)
dang, christ.
