When you use layers, you can draw the background "under" the girl without fear of messing up the girl, so you don't have those messy white lines around her.
In case you don't understand layers:
Try to see them as glass sheets. Standard, Shi-Painter offers 3 layers, but you can add and delete them. One layer you can use as a sketch for the general layout, the one above that is good for the final lines, or if you don't like lines, color blocks. And number three you can use as a background. You can also change the order of the layers.
Okay, so this is maybe not the best explanation, but it might be a step in the right direction.

I bet you also like it when your lines are distorted. you plan them to be this way.. right?

Sigh, in future I'm gonna let babies muck themselves, just leave anything under the age of 12 alone, little buggers are sucky

Cute, but i think black lines would suit way better then white ones :o) (just my opinion)
