Well, my second picture of Edward Elric, but this time done on Lascaux Sketch. I think that it looks much better, since the colors are more solid. Critisism and comments are very welcome. :33

Layers are simple to use. On lascaux, I find it harder to use layers, but that's just me. Layers help you color and add backgrounds and stuff. On shi-painter, I always draw my sketch on Layer 1, lineart on layer 2, color over my sketch back on layer 1, and then if needed, I draw a background on Layer 0

Well, I for one, think it's pretty. You may want to try and work on the eyes and hair a bit more. But other than that, fantastic work!

I love the solid black you used, and how you, instead of using a hard brush for the white, used a soft one to make it look less flat. All in all, great picture, I'm saving this on my computer.

Once upon a time there were three pigs. They were owned by a farmer named Mr. Hammock, who enjoyed raising pigs and slaughtering them. He kept the three aformentioned pigs in a sty, as all pigs are kept in. The pigs were of the same size, the same weight, and were basically like any other pig you would find. One day, Mr. Hammock decided to kill one of the pigs. The first little pig was ground into a fine pork, and was later served to the family as breakfast patties to eat with their pancakes....

It's blush under his eyes. And shine.I love his eyepatch xD I want one. All I have to crit right now is maybe use the pen on his eyes instead of burn? If you did it would look even better than it does now <3

Not too bad, but you need to work on porportions. The ear shouldn't be coming out of his forehead, his mouth is way too far to the left, his head looks a bit smushed, and his arms are different lengths.Also, try and lay off the blur tool. Try cell shading or something of the sort instead. You'll be amazed how much better things look. |

Well, it's Edward Elric. Hagaren no Renkinjutsushi, or the Fullmetal Alchemist! I'm absolutely in love with the anime and manga series, which inspired me to draw him. :3 Haha, it's actually my first time drawing on the computer and I think it turned out fairly well. Comments and critisism welcome. But please don't be too harsh when critisizing, I'm new. D:

English one suuucks D: (but, it's "Hagane no Renkinjutsushi", "Hagaren" is just the shortened title)Let's see, well, this is really good for a first try, but here's a few tips: Try to make thinner, smoother lines, and lineart the hair, maybe? Pen tool is good for lineart. Try not to use the airbrush tool for coloring, it tends to look messy. He needs some eyebrows ^__^;; |
