this one was designed by hiram codd' designed for hygiene' so has the contents only touched glass' the neck of the bottle was pinched in holding the glass marble' inside the top was a rubber seal' when pressurised with the gassy lemonade the marble would rise tightly up to the seal to hold the liquid in' the marble had to be pushed down into the neck to obtain the drink' a lot of these bottles are ussually found broken as kids used to smash them for the marbles

There was originally going to be nine dwarfs until two dwarfs were axed at the very last minute, they were called jumpy and baldy. They had a list of fifty to begin with and one of the dwarfs on the list was called "shorty" i mean how much more growth restriction can a dwarf possibily have.

I still find showcase stuff I haven't seen before. This is wonderful! Such Van Gogh-ish stroke work.

I know ..there are all kinds of things in the ground in these parts ..but mostly you have to get permits from everyone to put a shovel in the ground.. it's a pain in the butt here.
tscott (Oct 13, 2017)

Well I'm in New England.. about the oldest part of the US.. so I'm sure there's a lot buried..just its all under parks, and private property.. so. .you can't go looking without permissions.
