I really love this portrait Shell did of me! It popped up on my Facebook from the original posting I shared 6 yrs ago and still, to this day, NO ONE has captured my likeness like Shell has here!! She is brilliant!!!

I only just recently stumbled upon a thread called "Faces to names" and got the idea to start drawing some of them. Unfortunately not everyone's picture was there and some links became broken with time. I encourage everyone to share their photo (so that I can draw it =u=) and if they have the time and feel like it, draw someone of their own. Cyclops, Black Bird and myself already broke the ice, hope it's contagious, let's put some portraits to the faces of 2draw >:3

I love how you experiment with different styles. One of my fave things to do on an oekaki board. This really does feel like a messy scratch board or perhaps a still from a "sloppy" rotoscope animation. Neato.

oh, axil, ooh, ooh, ooh, I love scratchboard, you are da king; beautiful. I love it. I did real scratchboard, years ago, it's very hard, cause you have to copy a real image,like a photo,or person before you, you cannot go around making something out of your head up, too hard; cause of the making light come out of a dark surface. I used a machinist's scratch-all, very sharp point. Axil is very good at light-dark work. Well, yes, he's very versatile, too,and pretty good at everything.

I would sip jack, smoke and rock in the hammock in the dark to blues.Takes me back a bit. Love it.

This is lovely. I like the lighting, the pose, the composition, the rock, water and background. The only thing that bothers me is her ankle. I zoomed in to try to make sense of it, but can't. Seems too bumpy. Love the shine on her hair and the wood of the guitar.
