Hey All, I'm doing some initial prototyping of a mac version of JTablet and am looking for alpha testers. If you are interested in testing this out, drop a message here or memo me with: - what kind of mac you have: model and version of OS X--good to know if you have an intel mac or not, too, - what version of Java you have installed (you can check in the lascaux sketch info box), - and what web browsers/versions you have installed (and use). ...I forgot to lower the eyes layer opacity before saving! TATAnyway it's summer, the weather is good yet I'm drawing winter clothes xD I love thoses "pumpking" hats! I have to learn how to use the Shi-painter tools! XD

One of my friends is obsessed with her pumpking hat, but I understand her, it's very pretty.This pic is very cute. The colors and the nice lineart makes me all warm inside. :D

the shading on the hat is lucious, i can't stop looking at it, very effective use of tones as well.

Fun piece, the thumb reminded me of Bush. But the bigger fishion (pun intended) reminds me of that guy from "3rd rock from the sun". The one with the squinty eyes.

ah, see i think tha majority of my stuff here only takes me 30 or so minutes, which is probably my first problem.i always liked the time exercises in school though. and lori, aye which is good, but i use it like a leg, i draw irl real close to the paper and have to step back. Thank ya's! |

Ok, so the contest required you to either draw a chimp, gorilla or human....well, I think I captured both chimp and human. LOL Don't know if that's a good thing or not. He's kinda um, creepy! Never done a speed painting before...I figured I needed a little something to speed me up so I put on some techno. Lol, seemed to work pretty well.
