Still working..but.. too tired to continue. Timer's off by like..aeons..because I forgot I had the window open for a bit.However. I will..erm..introduce-ish. :o HAI. I is new. I found ya'll via google, because I wanted an oekaki with friendly peoples that had Shi Painter Pro. xD And I hope I found it. The last Oekaki I drew at, er..let's just say, unless you were drawing boyluffpr0nz, you were ignored. :o I hope things are much better here. x3; Got more lineart in.. :o Karate time, nowKAIBAI.

I myself am coming back, now that I retrieved my lost password from our disaster this past year at my house... a word to the wise, don't ever let your house burn down. Anyway, I'm back, and its great to see new artists here! Mmm, slopping some colors and shading on.. I'll refine stuff/finish if I can come morning.

Great job Arique, too bad you were too late, imo it was one of the best runs of to hide from the other artists in this contest So you just get a virtual feather in your hat. :D

OH man what a frickin bummer. This really rocks though, great way to combine the two. It's a great painting, I like the colors and his expression...really gets the feelings of love and hate across. I understand the competition thing, I was in choir and I loved it...I used to joke that there were four parts to our choir instead of three...Soprano, Second, Alto, and MEL. *hated Mel* |

Congratulations sweet_insanity (Michelle) , "sugar, spice and everything nice." is awarded first place for Contest Week 59: Love & Hate Hybrid. Described as the interchangeable piece, this certainly is a unique take on the love/hate theme. I like how she's licking the sugar, brings the 2 subjects together in a very practical manner. I particularly like the tongue, it's well rendered and has form. Sugar can certainly be hated in the right context, well done.

Since all of the pictures on my user board are anime pictures, I decided to add my first oekaki'D realistic attempt. :DI wanted to google "Dammit" so I could draw a picture of some one's face going like -> U8< , but I saw this picture on the first page and decided to draw this one~ It doesn't look like the reference picture very much, though (specially the pinky ->wrist area -bleh-)... I guess it's as close as I'll get for now since this was my first try. ^^ p.s. Is this considered beginner's material or intermediate? There are somethings in this picture that I think are noobish, but there are somethings in this picture that I think came out pretty good. What do you guys think of this picture? D: I wanted to fix the coloring on the digits a little bit, but it doesn't really make a difference to the picture. :P

I think it's intermediate, you spent enough time on it and the face is nice. The hand could use a little more work, though. |
