DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 5, 2004)
Tis quite brave and noble of you to wage war, Sir Ravioli, but I warn you... Icats is the *Queen of Sketchy*. I have seen her conquer many kingdoms with sketchiness, she is ruthless with a pencil.

We need a war around here to liven things up. Is it just dead and boring on my boring pictures or is this place going flat?

Several fat, furry bees are busily gathering pollen from our blueberry bushes on the porch...they inspired this...though I used a google photo of a bee on a blue flower to guide me.

Thanks for the nice feedback everyone. Hi, Pantera (Hel)! Your work looks good. I'm struggling to get comfortable in this new environment...it certainly is fun learning, though :-) Hi, Icats (Staci...were you Staci on YouDraw)? Girl, your work ROCKS. Glad to see several YouDrawers on here!

Is this the black cat from Edgar Allen Poe's short story, "The Black Cat"? The one with the cat that the psyco guy kept trying to kill but it just kept coming back? We read that in school, that was a creepy story...
concannon (Apr 3, 2004)
Hah, I liked that story. And the man wasn't physco til the cat showed up in the first place. Then he stabbed its eye out, then it got burned into the plaster of their house, then it came back with a white patch on its chest in the shape of the gallows.

Done now. >>
mooseflower (Apr 5, 2004)
There was one kid in my class *cough*thatkidinthefrontrowwhoshouldbeinspecialed*cough* who laughed the whole way through, especially when they found it on the wife's head in the wall. I thought the story was good, it's just that if you killed a cat, it'd be sort of creepy if it was stalking you from the grave, right?

the little smears of blue and yellow on his butt.... lol...... you're too funny
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 31, 2004)
This reminds me.... once when I was a little girl in Brownies (ugh, Brownies... Boy Scouts go to wilderness, girl scouts sell cookies, what a rip-off) anyway, we took these little easter baskets to the "old folk's home", ya know? And I gave one to this little old man that took all the candy eggs out and ate the grass! Okay, just a sharing moment.
craptastic_spaztic (Apr 2, 2004)
WHAT? Ate the grass? Hehehe.
mooseflower (Apr 3, 2004)
Peeps are yummy, except for the little wax eye things. I used to think they were chocolate, so I pulled a few off and ate them. Suprisingly enough, they tasted like wax and gave me a stomach ache...
Adorable picture though, it made me laugh enough that people around me looked at me funny. I hope you are blessed with peeps, chocolate, and fake grass this easter.

If I were you, I would look up "Autumn Leaves" performed by John Coltraine. One of the most famous and well-known improvisational recordings ever. You can hear great versions by all the greats: Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderly, etc. Get them all.

Oh, and BTW, nice pic.
davincipoppalag (Mar 31, 2004)
Dino good music! Miles is God...

I miss the days when my pc had sound in more ways than I can ever describe. I'm missing out on so much. Autumn leaves, noted.
