This is for my school play, we're doing the crucible and my director had the idea for the cross shadow in the shape of the devil, hopefully she likes this! Since I did this with chibi I can't add text but obviously the finished project would have text

Thanks all for your kind words. I'm entirely astonished that I placed in this contest, there were so many great entries. Lori, why would you be 'sorry' that Zep looks better than I imagine him to look? Besides loving Zep's work I wanted to draw a picture manifesting my mental image of a perceived personality--generous, kind, beneficent...one who would never go out of his way to say something mean-spirited to another artist. From the way he has always presented himself here, that's how I imagine him.

Contest Week 101: 2draw Portrait So, basically draw someone else on the site. it can be anyone, you can ask them for a reference picture or just draw them from imagination! This is just a fun let loose contest, Obviously not everyone will be comfterable giving their pictures away, so please be ginger. Hey, I was wondering, can one see a cup(or any object) as an artwork as well as something to drink out of? Can these two ways of seeing be interchangeable?

Because it was presented in an art gallery, because someone decided to call it art.I think some artists were testing the limits, wanted to see how far audience will believe it's art when they name it art. Others discovered it's easier than producing art themselves. But that's just me, I never attempted in 'getting' all that new art. |
