Nice apple.. have you (somehow) created a brush that comes with those little straight lines?

if you hold alt and rclick inside the brush editor you can make a thin (long or short) brush. holding ctrl and r rclick will let you angle the brush. setting the spacing tool slider 'C:' to about 1/3 in creates the 'lines'. using jtablet opacity sensitivity with blend checked gives the stutter gradient color effect.

NO, this is not finished, sorry; i wanted to make it simple, unfussy, and not messy or, complicated. And I'm tired, from doing other stuff right now, have to get it done later. Don't want to ruin the coloring. The "swamp of secret powers" indicates where the mosquitoes came from, a swamp, and the swamp contains the real dirt, poison, and power behind the political parties. The mosquitoes are only the bringers of poison, the real poisoners are in the swamp. Ha ha ha ha.

Oh, come on.. US is still a lot comfier than other places.. In here (Israel) we've got our 'friendly cousins' from all our surroundings (except the sea), and we've got the stupid imitations to your stupid tv shows.. And- while your stupid reality show lasts for 20 mins, our imitation lasts for 2 hrs a chapter, and two chapters a week (no kiddin!).. can you get any lower?Apparently it can, or else there wouldn't be so many Eritreans refugees around here..

I felt like looking at this once more. I think it's the only abstract piece who ever brought tears to my eyes, and managed to do it twice. I'm trying to understand what's so great in it, and I really don't know. But I really love it.

@shults: honestly the comment I think back to the most.It's cool to think that a painting can make someone tear up for a moment, especially since I never experienced it. Music is a stronger medium to me...I wonder why.

Nice to know.. :) It's not too often that sight amazes me in a good way, but it happened before, that I was so amazed and excited by a piece of art that I teared (it happened in museums, here, and by 'natural pieces of art' like the first time I saw a whale).

I really like this/ It doesn't look much like monkey's, but that's a good thing, I think. And it's pleasant to look at.. ( I don't like the other drawing you did.. what was the deal with that btw?)I feel like an old soul too sometimes, on those days when I rather stay at my comfy home, more than getting out. With that, I can't fully accept the fact that one day I'll die. I'm not stupid, I know that's a fact of life, but it's hard to believe it, because I feel so much alive. I'm not sure if that's a natural thing or not.. maybe I'll come to realize it once I'll be gray and old (which is another thing you learn to believe only after seeing photos of your grandma when she was young and pretty).

lol... I don't know what the deal is with those other drawings... they will likely disappear into deletionland...as will this maybe. I'm just biding time today. Pretty uneventful day, the kind I enjoy.

It's not just the temptations.. even of they were pure ideologists (wihch I doubt), in order to get into that powerful position (and 'make a change') they must play the game and that's when they get filthy and corupted.. anyways, you can pull a saramgo and whiten your votes.
