From "Bone" I just got the big book and read it. I'd never gotten past the first quarter before (anyone remember when it was in that disney magazine?) This is from page 1042 kind of.
This picture is crap but I spent too long to just delete it :/

Gren from Cowboy Bebop. My theory is if I draw enough of these fanart pictures eventually I'll get good enough at this style to draw it without using a picture. Speaking of which, here is the one I used for this picture:

It's from the show alright, I believe its from part 2 of "Jupiter Jazz" or perhaps another name, But I know it's from the show, Gren wasn't in the movie.
And your theory about drawing enough fanart pics is partly true..However to draw anime and manga styles on your own its better to just sit down everyday and study styles and most of al figure out which style(s) of manga you wish to draw, and study that particular one. Otherwise your just gonna draw fanart pics for a long, long time.

Ack, I have got to stop spending so much time drawing, this place is addictive! Another Kenshin... I just finished the anime series so it's kind of stuck in my head. This one is based off a screenshot. Some episode in the middle... ;)

I made his chin too low and didn't realize until I was done coloring. I don't know how to fix that without redoing the whole picture so I'll just have to draw it again! ;)

I agree because kenshin is normally such a goofy character, I particularly like the way he reassures himself so much, with the "This I do's" and "That I don'ts".
One thing though, I never liked the way the artist drew their noses, to me they are just to pointy and OVERLY exaggerated. I don't know if you agree, but it would be nice since you are sight copying these pictures, if you add your own little touches besides the background. Just an Idea. Nice image.
