waht is tweaker?
davincipoppalag (Apr 10, 2005)
It's a word we use to describe someone who is a perfectionist. Someone who keeps making little adjustments (tweaks) to their work. |

Was using a mouse, and just wanted to draw. I didn't really want to paint anything. I think I prefer my tablet more. This is the type of stuff I would do with a ball-point pen I guess.
sagenev (Apr 5, 2005)
so much work... well, i like this kind of work in fact.salut
Anna (Apr 5, 2005)

This must have killed your wrist~ so many lines! It's a very interesting sketch, and I like that you did it with blue.
Coolsoft (Apr 5, 2005)
actually if you move the mouse using your elbow, it's not too bad.(I must say, my hand was a little cramped though.) |

emmamommalag (Apr 5, 2005)
I love all those different colors. And how at first it appears to be only one jumbled up face until you look again and see them all. You are so creative. :)
sagenev (edited Apr 5, 2005)
well, i think is something do it before, by many artist... its no my credit, but i think to copy the best of the creative ideas, is a good way to learn of the same artist.... salut |

Cordelia_Pink (Apr 1, 2005)
At first I thought this was done by zep. But then I realised that it had something to do with the thick lines for the shading which is great. It really adds effect. Reminds me of those illustrations in some youth fiction novels. Qué bueno!
sagenev (Apr 5, 2005)
well, i dunno, i don't see the similar with zep... in fact he have a better technicsalut |

emmamommalag (Mar 29, 2005)
Looks like Abe Vigoda. Great job, sagenev.. the bold colors are very pleasing to the eye.
Zack (Mar 29, 2005)
I dunno (don't know). The bright green and blue of the background contrast too much with the orange face, which takes away from the depth of the picture. I really liked the boldness of the figure in v3, and v4 took away some of that. The woodcut style works really well in this one, especially with the shading on the shirt. Also, the way in which the face is abstracted reinforces the sense of waiting that I get from the title. The flower in the background is an interesting compositional element and works well next to the face, but there is some undeveloped space on the canvas below and to the right of the man's chin, so my eye tends to focus on the top half of the canvas only.
sagenev (Mar 29, 2005)
well, in fact, i think this draw liked before too... jeje, but only can see thaqt when you paint; never before.now, either can edit again. anyway. can paint a new draw. |

i still think that we can have a diferent thinking for diferent years old, but like said our known "old men" einstein, in fact all is relative in this world.
