Practicing the layer thing... thanks skia, shortie, choc gum dropz, for trying to explain it to me... If all three of you didn't try to teach me I would have never got it... but I'm still learning... and the shading sucks I know... still learning that... If you have any comments on shading I would love to hear them..... :3

Maybe put her in front of a table. Easiest thing just make a dark brown table, and a solid color background. This is real cute Yuki.

I'm back :3. I wonder if anyone remembers me. Well, I drew a little zangoose. I used a refrence (one of the pictures off a pokemon card), but I only used it because I have never drawn a zangoose before.

I'm just glad I can try and help someone to improve, even if I do sometimes stink at getting my point across. XD I've been keeping an eye out on your stuff, and I think you've got great potential. Just keep experimenting with lineart (you might especially want to try Sweetcell's idea with the airbrush) and coloring. Personally, I'd like to see more of your pictures with shading- it does wonders for dimension. All you really need to do is keep in mind which direction the light would be coming from. :3

You can try to blend the colors together, especially on his trousers so that the drak shaidng doesn't stand out as much.
I usually do this by putting the watercolor tool on low opacity and blend, blend, blend until the the colors sort of blur/come together.
It takes some patience, time and practice, but I think you should do fine.
