hi guys!
i'm just trying to clean up my unfinished stuff, and this is frmo a year ago or so. BLEH!
ref used... when i did the ear i didnt have the picture so i just kind of winged it. woop! mehh. doesn't look like him that much, but what can i do...

The photo ref I painted this from is from the photographer's private collection, the woman pictured here is his wife. I wanted to paint from his online DA photo gallery and even commented that I intended to do so. Out of the blue he hit me up on MSN regarding his photos and me painting one. He showed me this private photo and suggested I paint it instead. I think it worked out nicely, she has many qualities that look good painted, even digitally.

hey y'all
i'm working on a story that's about a man who wants to make a bargain with the devil to bring his wife back from the dead, and lo! this guy appears (instead of the devil). the devil's little brother handles all the business deals/bargains with mortals... and, er, yeah. this is him. i'm still working on the story... (or not working at all on it). comments & criticism are much appreciated! :)

yay for stippling, the facial expression adn body language is great. niiice workk.

just a little side note: it would be a little better if the skeleton was more defined (on my monitor the colours muddle up, so it's just probly my problem...) but you know, that's up to you. just a suggestion. :)
