I was trying to do a mixture of modern and abstract art but, it looks more modern rather than abstract.

The peacock itself is beautifully done. To be honest I think those coloured squares and triangles throw off the picture a bit from it's nice soft wavy/pearl background, but that's just my opinion. Adding some kind of dotted semi-circle curve to suggest a shoulder on the girl would look great too.

Nah, you had a point there.. It's more accurate, but less free and calming. Oh, and one more thing, if you wish to avoid the white lines, don't use the fill tool. If you like them for whatever reason, then I'd recommend you not to use the fill tool and manually create the white lines.
