I cannot even describe to you how incredibly appealing your drawings are to me. It's like, I want to tell you that almost every time I see one of your drawings, but it would be meaningless and repetitive, and I want you to understand how much I truly mean it. So, this turned out to be Jin from the Tekken series.. I'm pretty sure he also has a large scar on his chest..but since I didn't have any images of him close by (nor did I care enough) I decided to leave that out. I'm well aware of the anatomy problems..the male chest isn't something I've had much of a chance to study. (I think "Tekken 2" is the only "Tekken" I've ever played) edit: His nipples were burned off for aerodynamics

I was scrolling through the Inter board and I saw this.I was all like "Whoa!" Because it looks exactly like something I had drawn in my notebook today. At first I wondered how my drawing got onto 2Draw, from my notebook. But then I realized this was way better than anything I've ever drawn. So I knew it wasn't mine. (Besides the fact it said TheCrimsonKing and the logical fallacies that went through my head) Righty-oh. That's my story. Anyways, great art. Please keep it up, because I feel like I'm learning, even if I'm not.

Disparity between texture and coloring of hair vs skin (as Derrick so unsubtly put it).Have you tried lineless? Go mess around in Shi Painter with the watercolor tool turned to about 60-100 opacity. It's fun :D. Much easier to define the nose that way using shadows and what not rather than hard lines.

Try using Oekaki Shi-Painter and the Pen tool.You also need to spend a lot more time on your drawings. Even for the beginner board, you should try to put in a lot of effort. For starters, he doesn't even have hands, a nose, or a mouth. Try looking at a picture to get the proportions correct as well. Sure there are a lot of things to keep track of while you are drawing, like colors, lines, and shapes, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it... eventually! |
