Hello. I hope this is up to standards for the intermediate board.After working on this picture for so long, I can't subjectively tell if the concept is clear, (or if the coloring is working.) Comment and constructive criticism is welcome. |

fine color mixing is an incredible talent, in my experience. You've done an impressive job here, (and perhaps more impressively in those murals. IRL mediums are so fickle.)This is a strong start.

This looks like something from the surrealist period. Picasso like Klox. Could also be a violin if you look close.

Which is why I normally don't try to draw it. But you definately got the look here. I'm envious. Wonderfully done. Only thing is the strawberry looks dull and faded, like it's lost it's color.

Yeah I know.. It is nowhere near finished yet. Just wanted to post my progress. Like that MIcrophone. It is supposed to be gold colored at the tip and a bit smaller. :( That is going to be a challenge.

This is from a beautiful photograph Dave took. (as most of his photographs are... exceptionally beautiful) I'm happy that he gave me permission to paint it, I enjoyed it so.Thank you for sharing it with me, Dave. :) I took an intermission between revisions and went to Surfside Beach for a week. :D
