This is really beautiful, just as it is. I can only imagine it finished ...how amazing this will be. Love her expression, the canvas size and the curves in it.

Sorry, didn't mean to bump this to the top, just wanted to complete it. I kept thinking about that poem "Ozymandius" while I was playing with the watercolour brush...trying to make it look like her body was made of sand, blowing away in the wind.

I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
by Percy Bysshe Shelley

I could use some hints on how to shade and make my person look more realistic.
And how to make hair

on the apps you will find a bar or tool for color and one for opacity, you can adjust the intensity of the colors by increasing or decreasing those, and if you use the pen tool the color will be more intense than if you use the airbrush tool, on chipipaint the are 2 tools called blender and smudge that can help blend colors as for hair take a look at what other artists have done on the intermittent and advanced boards and for some you can play back the video to see how they did it, there is another tool called smooth and this helps smooth out the lines

It's beginning to bug me that you think that your the voice of knowledge when it comes to knowing exactly what it takes to draw on which board. I'm sure alot of people wouldn't consider your work intermediate, but because their overly polite or just plain chicken shit they dont like to comment.
lynx3jumper (May 12, 2010)
Hey how do you get your pics to be a square not a skinny rectangle in Lascaux?
lynnandcharlie (May 12, 2010)
click on draw, click on the program you want to use, enter the ht and width you want , then click on draw
