reminds me of zombies... this guy looks like he just rose from a grave and is ready to follow his victims... the shades of green give the picture an ominous feeling
Alter.Native (edited May 1, 2012)
no zombification intended :)
if you've seen 'the crow' movie or 'gabriel', that's where the concept comes from..more of a creature of justice.

I hope you finish this one, too. would like to see it become advanced.
Artiste (Apr 23, 2011)
I was looking at this and the previous, and a quote from the man who taught me painting came to mind... "big artists use big brushes" I think you would be well suited to making your brush size larger! BTW the man who taught me how to paint is named Max Ginsburg. Brilliant artist.
montezmaria (Apr 28, 2011)
Very nice, I too hope you finish this. Looking forward to it.

Looks like a working hand. A little grimy dirt, and a little under the nails. Great job.

Axel, you can really paint. I love the style, and they are right, the paint strokes, and building up the paint layers, very wonderful.this is a lot more like real art.

You are really a good painter; if you paint in unvirtual reality, in real paint sometimes, we'd love to see it you should tell us where your displaying, or having a show.Huh!maybe you're not doing that yet, or you don't do it, but it's really a shame if you don't. There aren't very many real painters in the world. Lots of people can paint and draw, but real painters are different.

gotta love NY

"..אני מבטיח לך, ילדה שלי קטנה, שזאת תהיה המלחמה האחרונה"-
When I was a kid, I also got that promise, that when I'll be an adult there wouldn't be any wars, and that there would be no need for an army when I grow up.
I used to believe it, and I promise now not to promise such a thing to my kids.

I've read today letters that broke my heart.. those letters were written by family members of israeli fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, as it's Israel's Remembrance Day.

25 minutes work...Beautiful, very moody drawing.
lori (Apr 27, 2012)
yes this is as moody as that one I did that made you moody... love it
shults (Apr 28, 2012)
lori, your painting made me feel moody, but in this piece, I 'threw' my feelings here and actually felt a little better afterwards. So it's a different process :)
lori (May 14, 2012)
yes dear ;)
