calling it finishedI livened the eyes for DJ, though in the photo I used for a ref., they were so squinted up from the smiling, that they appeared mostly black

I've done it a few times myself, if you dont do the drawing in one go though you have to remember the exact time to pause it for next time.

or you can pause the video, do a screen print, paste it in whatever paint perogram you may have, crop whatever part you want to use as the ref and save it. Then it'll be there whenever you want to come back to it.
