a bit of a focus piece for me.. because every chemical effects my brain... and I am off lately....if I am stressed (yes, I have a life, and it's not always easy, same as you) and say, smoke(I'd like to give them up altogether! working on that) more than I should, it can throw me off... if I drink more than two cups of coffee a day or have anything with caffeine, it can throw me off... sweets... just anything.. where's the balance? Stay... @ 4 or 5 and I'll be happy. I was happy and level 'til I was pissed off then I got so close to going skyhigh on the scale from 1-10 and all sorts of shit was happening to my brain. So on DA I have a photo of a red door, I bought my own print of it to remind myself to stay the hell away from my own inner red door. I focus alot on how I can stay fairly balanced throughout life's troubles. It means alot to me.
yeah, so drawing is therapeutic for me, big deal.. just saying that before someone here gives me crap for focusing on myself again. Big fuckin' deal. Even if I use a ref. I'm drawing because it feels good. And big deal if I type the words out. So don't comment if you think it's a piece of shit drawing or go ahead and tell me so and I'll tryyyy to ignore you.
Anyway, going to try to make this better somehow.. the baby is there because I'm not just caring for myself to feel better. I have to be well for others too.
the drawing pretty much sucks so far, but just getting ideas down, it will most likely turn into something completely different looking a little bit later on

Can you say procrastinating? Because that is what I'm doing with my Scrat drawing. I is still in my 'studio' and I want to work on it, but somehow I don't, must be scared to mess it up.
