Contest Week 70: Skyscapes closed for judging Sweetcell has the flu so I'm doing the contest this time too. I was looking back on the past contests and saw we've done a landscape one a long while back, but skyscapes can be really nice too. The sky can be seen so many ways and is often full of the most vivid colors of nature. I sketched this goofy skull/zombie today and I figured I'd color it on 2draw. Unfortunately, it didn't transfer as smooth as I'd hoped it would (via scanning and making it a font key). Here is the original sketch: skully

The whole transferring through fonts technique just isn't worth it unless the artwork is smooth. Oh well.

Very cool... a realistic bubble with a "painterly" man blowing it. Last month I started most of my mornings alone outside, watching the sun rise and blowing bubbles into the new light. I love bubbles! :)

Haha, right on. As for the drawing, I like the style of the face and the color combo. Gump's mother was a fucking genius, that's all I have to say about that. ;)

Using phrases and large words that most people don't know are usually in the perview of TV execs so they can make the viewers think they're smart enough to know what people want. That's why we have crap TV and the writers are on strike. X}

In all of your pictures you always choose an unusual pallet of colors to color with and it always ends up looking really good.
