Ok. I'm posting a new rule. People who don't make an effort to type, spell, and write properly will start getting their comments deleted. Same goes for image descriptions. What does this mean? It means actually writing out words in complete, such as "you" and "too." It means learning the difference between "your" and "you're." It means not sounding like a complete moron. Thank you.

I would like advice on coloring. It's purple. :Duhhh... it's faryish. And I colored it!^^ (its supposed to look like ghostish)
i hated the fary stuff. Much better now!

i like it, though you may want to get rid of all that white glow. I know you want it to look spirit-ish, so maybe make it BEHIND the girl.

the hair and the shaped of the head are bothering me a little bit...otherwise, this is really good. I really like the shading and the way you did the tree and the bg. can't wait to see it done!! ^.^ I have no idea...

You need to work a bit on your drawing skills if you want to move up to intermediate... but it's pretty good! :D

Dude, what are those random three lines in the upper right corner? And how come the whites of his eyes aren't, y'know, white? How come they're red? I thought his eyes were blue... o.OYour shading is kind of haphazard, you shouldn't just throw a few highlights randomly and consider that shading. And the bg appears to have been done with like...no effort. Also, his left arm is much shorter than his right. But no way Draco would ever say "Not listening!!". Next it'll be "Talk to the wand Lily, cos the ears ain't listenin'!" heh. Good points: At least you attempted shading. Their expressions are different, and the chara design is somewhat original. I have a Harry Potter name, too. It's Child. But I haven't worked on that fanfic in a very long while. :P

umm...this is the first thing i ever draw here... used a lot of that thing wer you draw a straight line then make it curvy... forgot whats it called... ... eheheheh

welcome to 2draw, hope you have fun here. pointer time! that curvy line thing? not your friend. you wanna go freehand all the way, unless of course you're trying to draw a perfectly straight line. otherwise, no geometric shapes. also, don't give up on your pictures! i can see you probably got frustrated and stopped halfway through on this one, but keep trying and even if you don't come up with anything you like, at least you might have learned some new techniques. oh yeah, and you might not want to use lascaux-- it's a pretty crazy applet and since (i'm assuming) this is your first time drawing online, you'll probably want to use a simpler, more reliable one like shi-painter. that's what i always use and i love it. anyway, have fun and feel free to ask me or anyone else if you need help. oh, and check out the showcase to look at stuff like lighting and lines and so on-- you can learn a lot by drooling at some of that stuff. bye now.

Hello!I agree with taori on some things, such as: -don't use curvy line thing -don't use straight line -don't use geometric shapes if you don't like something of yours, don't submit it!! you should read marcello's rules, first, which you obviously didn't do. also, lascaux is pretty good if you want to use it. i switch between okaki and lascaux, depends on what i feel like. Also, taori's suggestion to drool at the pics in the showcase is a good idea. you can learn a lot about shading and stuff like that by looking at the animation and the pics themselves. also, make sure to use the hidden choice if you're not done with a pic yet. the mods don't really like it when people go and post an unfinished pic un-hidden(trust me. i know. >,<) anywho, if you want to do a collab, memo me!! -lily |

this is really good! I like the bg, the storm clouds, and the lightning, they are all perfect(for now)...
but there are a few things about Tory that are bothering me...
(i used to make all these mistakes myself, so don't worry, you'll grow out of it.)
1)try to use layers. I watched the animation and when you were making the grass, it seemed to acidentilly go over Tory's foot.
2)don't use the fill tool a lot. The mods don't usually like that, and will delete your pics if they all have a bunch of fill tool going on. (trust me, I know.)
3)try shading. You don't have to use shading right away, but it's a good idea if you want to get better.
i know childlike_vampire has a pic demonstrating layers.
and I don't have the link on me, but mazi also has some great tutorials to look at.
Overall, I think this is great!

1)I know what it's like to be new, I was once, too, just giving you some tips for you to improve...
2)I know it's confusing, that's why I usually look like @.@ this after an hour or two on 2Draw.
3)Yes, I know that you hate me now.(and that you still are mad at me for telling you-know-who)
4)I know that you only used fill once, but the mods tend to not like it...trying to save you a few points, is all.
5)I suck at computer art, too!! You may want to save up for a tablet if you suck with a mouse. And I know not everyone is good at drawing, although if you want to make it on 2Draw you should do a lot of practicing.
You do have to notice that I said over all this is a great pic.
