well... i guess it's a commentary on life?(not quite done yet)--safteysave just wanted to wait a few days and see if there was anything i wanted to add. but i'm lost as to what i could.

did you ever see the film "The Elephant Man?" despite all his disabilities and misfortune there was still a person inside, the figure reminds me of the depiction of him....you may be under a spotlight, but dont melt away! ( I know- corny!)

Betty Boop in Mark Ryden stylefinally got the body right, now just need to work on color
This is begining to drive me nuts and really want to finish!!!-
but for now i'm stuck and would love sudjestions. I do know this was for a challenge awhile ago, but i began it before I realized how close the deadline was XP (oops). I would love any critics :) thanks.

well, I think it's obviously Betty Boop / Ryden style, that's for sure! If you want to make any changes at all, I'd only suggest looking at examples of his work, and examples of Ms. Boop. This is just fine as is though. :o)/end picture

I'm surprised more people haven't commented. This has a scarey horror movie feel to it. I love how he's just submerging from the shadows and there's a slight halo of light around him with the cobwebs making a nice touch. Hope to see more from you Katloo (love the name) Welcome.

a fairly quick piece. just something that's been floating around in my head for awhile.i hope that it's appropriate for the board as i haven't drawn here before. it's suppose to be more modern, less realistic and have a sense of timlessness that life can have sometimes.
