Frankly,I think itchy's is better than the Picasso. (My opinion.) Itchy's work was far harder to do,trickier, and took more detail, patience, than the Picasso. All the work of Itchy's is more delicate, subtle, and that was never a trait that Picasso could do.He was just a big, bold BULL. I think it's easier to make sweeping, bold statements; but the subtle, tricky hard stuff of depicting reality, without making it too stiff, is very demanding. Excellent, Itchy.

well thanks, you are too kind.

this bulged my eyes out :) I love it.

being a successful artist is just as much about being a good salesman as being a good artist. you have to understand the works in the context of the times, how they are presented, and how they are received. monetary worth is arbirtrary, anyway. why do people pay thousands of dollars for some t-shirt that a rock star wore? if I were to tell you I had a painting by pablo picasso in my museum, you'd be far more interested in visiting than if I said I had some schmuck you've never heard of. that's worth money. |

Those skintones are very nice! Loving the cool shadows.
ChalkDust (Mar 21, 2011)
Yeah, repeating what was already said, but the skin tones are really great. And the bit of spine poking out under the skin is wonderful too.
dorothyblueeyes (Mar 22, 2011)
yeah, that's really a great painting, but how did the model ever get out of the chiropractor's office again?
itchymonkey (Mar 23, 2011)
thanks , it doesn't look comfortable. But no, i've never done any life drawing apart from some reflected selfs. and drawing on live people ;) |

itchymonkey (Mar 18, 2011)
thnks its the first time ive had jtab in shi..jtab didnt load until about frame 50....at 165 i did some blurring, then undid it. maybe undo messes up the animation? however, with some button pushing it comes unstuck. maybe

I don't like the tusks, but it's late.
Felistorm (Oct 6, 2010)
I agree I really like this one!!!!!!
Miss_DJ (Oct 6, 2010)
Thanks, Felistorm!!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 11, 2011)
It's not necessary to try to change the tusks to make them "this or that", "correct" anything, or whatever.... it's obviously not meant to be realism. It's surreal and dreamy, then the tusks give it a sharp edginess I like. Kind of like the personality of elephants, so sweet and loyal, family oriented, but when threatened can be extremely vicious, enacting intelligently planned revenges, even. I love ephalumps, love the picture.

NekoChibi (edited Mar 5, 2011)
The Problem: Ok, I have used chibipaint for drawing very often lately. However, its been working differently than before. For example, lets say I draw on layer 1, then I go to layer 2 that is below layer 1. I draw on layer 2 and all of the strokes disappear when I go back to layer 1. In other words I can only see the highest layer and nothing below it. How can I change the layer setting to make all layers visible even if one is on top of the other? (Example of what it should be doing: The top la...
