Looks like a beauty from the 1890s.. wonderfully done
dorothyblueeyes (Mar 25, 2012)
very beautiful, and I love the hair. The only thing is, her neck was really turned like that? Wow.or maybe it's just that she has a long neck, and it's the illusion that her head is turned very sharply. Anyhow, it's beautiful.
Imperfect (Mar 26, 2012)
Soft colors, another nice one.
safescene (Mar 27, 2012)

it reminds me of someone as well, but i can't put my finger on it. anyways, great stuff as usual.
Flubbles (Mar 4, 2012)
It reminds me a bit of Alicia from the Good Wife, but I'm not sure if thats who it reminded me.
Moosh (Mar 4, 2012)
Yeah, that makes sense what with the dark hair and all. Reminds me of Karen Allen for some odd reason.
Flubbles (Mar 4, 2012)
Aye, I think it's more to do with the facial expression. Karen Allen has a similar facial expression too.

cool depth you got into this one
Black_Bird (Nov 8, 2011)
Disturbing and very cool.
Teapot (Nov 10, 2011)
So disturbing, eh? First thing that came to my mind was 'cremation of a murdered girl'. I've been watching too many cop dramas.
itchymonkey (Nov 13, 2011)
too many cop dramas, there is. you'll be profiling me.
my pleasure, to disturb.

from a picture of chinese artist ai wei wei with his artwork, a room full of one hundred million porcelain sunflower seeds.

some context..from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ai_Weiwei In October 2010, Sunflower Seeds was installed at the Tate Modern Turbine Hall, London. The work consists of one hundred million porcelain "seeds," each individually hand-painted in the town of Jingdezhen by 1,600 Chinese artisans, and scattered over a large area of the exhibition hall.[33] The artist was keen for visitors to walk across and roll in the work to experience and contemplate the essence of his comment on mass consumption, Chinese industry, famine and collective work. However, on 16 October, Tate Modern stopped people from walking on the exhibit due to health liability concerns over the porcelain dust.[34] In February 2011, a 220-pound (100 kg) pile from Sunflower Seeds sold for $559,394 (well above its high estimate of $195,000) at Sotheby's in London.[35]
He is currently under arrest by chinese authorities for alleged 'tax evasion' .
davincipoppalag (May 21, 2011)
He's in Beijing... Everything is China :0)
dorothyblueeyes (May 22, 2011)
so, some reason this fabulous piece of reality is not in showcase? everything else detailed, and fantastically tightly rendered and licked,is in showcase. Besides, it's great.
karl (May 25, 2011)
Great work, its a shame the chinese government took him in
