the convention on the internet usually is to shorten people's user names to just the first word when you dont' feel like typing out the whole name. very few people actually type out the full user name, especially with usernames like davincipoppalag around. :P

because of this convention, telling people not to call you "voodoo" is like insisting that people refer to you by your last name in real life. it's unusual, so you shouldn't expect anyone to do it. and because of that, you shouldn't get upset when people don't know better. a simple "please call me bunny or Valerie" would suffice. when you just say "don't call me voodoo," people don't understand what you're talking about (as Sanzo demonstrated).

edit: no, you didn't read carefully, because I didn't say you would have to tell every person period. I said you would have to tell every person who ever mentioned you, or in other words anyone who called you by name.

Jesus! Courtney, what the hell happened? She must have gave up heroin for Twinkies. Strange, it's actually kind of an improvement. I think she has an addiction problem or one might say an "addictive personality" and her current state is proof of that. She gave up the drugs for food, it's actually pretty sad, she needs help.

The pose looks a bit awkward, unless this is a cowboy about to draw his gun or something. Even then the elbows would be flared out a bit more. Proportion-wise, I agree with Emma about the arms and I also think the crotch area is pretty high. It's hard to say much about what the proportions should be without knowing whether this is male or female, child or adult, though. You might try gestural drawings to come up with a more natural pose instead of starting out with the body outline.

Cloxboy insists that anatomy is best learned with pencil (or pen?) and paper, however, so you might try sketching a pose out on paper a few times quickly until you find something that feels more natural.
