Ok.... thought I would expand my horizons and try a drawng with shi-chan BBS.... could not take it anymore.... in my opinion... BBS sux hardcore!! I think I'll stick to Shi-Painter and Lascaux Sketch!! |

My first crack at doing a realistic pic. I usually don't use Lauscaux Sketch, but I really like the shading and blending tools. Far from finished.EDIT: Wanted to revise to work more on the shading but I reached my 200 kb limit... Oh well..... I'm satisfied with it... I guess. LOL

I can see you used the effect tool here. It makes whispy effects which I don't think you would really want for a stormy image.I think if you want to do a stormy sky you should look at some cumulonimbus clouds. Search on Google images. These kinda look to "pewny" to be storm clouds. I think you should look at some "beefy" clouds. Good start though. Very detailed. :)

Thx for the input Fin.... Lord knows I can use all the help I can get . LOL I sometimes "do" hate using the effect tool... I'll try scratching 'em next time. |

I have tried to do a somewhat realistic pic but just can't get it.... I'm thinking Lauscaux would be better to use as far as the blending and shading goes. So... does anyone want to collab on this with me to finish it?? Could really use some help.

Just practicing using all watercolors. I think I'm starting to get the hang of blending and shading on the Shi-painter.

Lol I like this very much. The shading is great. Theres a lot of detail in the coloring Nice lips and eyes, too. |

rain drop / tear drop / sweat drop / just a drop. I think I'm going to start practicing water drops. I really think they're cool when they are done right. Obviously, this one needs mega work. LOL
