Ref: an aboriginal painting on bark from a tree burned in a bushfire - I brought it back from Oz some years ago. Oh, the GABA is the outback, it stands for "the Great Australian B*gger All! Ignore the timer btw.

This is very well done. I've seen some of those pieces. I think Aboriginal art is so intricate and wonderful. Good job

Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605; effigies of Britain's most famous traitor are burned across the country every year on 5th November, with bonfires and fireworks.No comments ... aaaargh ... if it's that bad poor Guy will have to buuuuurn!

I have asked one of the mods for more space, so we wait to see ... thanks for the support, all of you, I appreciate it!Done! Didn't get round to finishing this for ages ... tried to get the effect of sunlight coming down the valley but as sunlight is a rare occurrence in Wales I'm not sure it works. (Steps back as Welsh people move in for the kill...)

A stick of rock is a very English thing ... made of mint-flavoured candy, a stick is about 9 inches long and usually coated in pink. The name of the seaside resort where the rock is bought is written all the way through. Why is it called rock? Try biting it! I bought a stick of rock yesterday for Anna but as she won't get it for a while, here's an advance copy!
