Great entertainer, shame about his public troubles overshadowing his music.

(A continuation of a story I have been making up as I draw from a previous post I did, this one below doesn't directly relate to what just occurred before, however it is still in the same Universe/City. I make this up as I go along so yeah I just wanted to add something to the drawing I guess.)

It is the year 3051. It is a bitterly cold and silent night on the outskirts of the city.

Detective Williams had been tipped off by an anonymous e-mail there was a certain location within the wharf area BlackBird had kept weapons and computers holding data on various people and points of interest throughout the city. With no other real leads except for the playing cards he had found, Williams decided to make his way to the City's wharf district.

Upon arriving to the wharf district, it was 1am, Williams pulled his car into the empty car park lot as he quietly stepped out of his car, shutting his door firmly. Williams could hear the sound of the ocean crashing against the concrete pillars with the smell of sea salt and raw fish wafting through the air. Williams looked to his right to notice a flock of seagulls perched quietly against the row of empty seats along the walkway. Ahead of Williams, were some Yachts and old century Tug Boats, gently rocking back and forth from the waves that slapped against them. To his left was a building that appeared operating as four floodlights were on with power lines running above him, with one light on in the room to the back. Williams took note and begun to walk quietly to the light source before suddenly he turned around...

Two exotic-looking cars pulled up behind him, with their headlights shone directly at him. Williams could barely see from the light when six men in dark suits came out of the cars.

"Williams, Williams..." A low husky voice said with sense of sarcasm and joy.

Williams looked forward squinting his eyes, unable to recognise the voice.

"It's been Twelve years, I don't blame you for not recognising me straight away Williams." The man with the low voice laughed as the men behind him begun to talk amongst themselves.

The sound of a gun shot could be heard as Williams looked on startled, bringing his hand to his gun concealed within his pocket. Another gun shot was heard as Williams felt a sudden sharp pain strike through his hand.

"Ah! Oh god!" Williams yelled as he clinched for his hand immediately.

"Twelve years Williams..."

Williams grinded his teeth before suddenly hearing another gun shot go off as the headlights still blinded him, his shoulder being struck by cold lead. Williams went into shock as he slumped to the ground shaking. The men behind him stopped talking as they moved closer, their identities concealed by shadow cast from the head lights behind them as four guns were raised to the head of Williams.

"I understand Williams, you have a job to do, looking after this City, but...so do I?" The man looked around to the others around him as they agreed nodding.

A sudden movement above from the powerlines occured as all six men looked up suddenly in confusion, watching as the powerlines begun to swing around by themselves wildly, spinning faster with each second before three of the lines snapped off, creating sparks with a great sense of energy in the air, a shape beginning to take form. A holographic cape came from the sky as it landed on Williams, his eyes opening suddenly looking down to a haze of green reflection and the pool of blood seeping from him rapidly.

A great blur came from the sky, almost like a comet as one of the men's heads became decapitated instantly. Followed by another succession to another of the men being cut in half horizontally. Another diagonally before a vertical slice was executed. Leaving only two men left. They watched in horror as the blur circled them like a Tornado, ignoring the death that was lying underneath them.

"....!"

My nephew-by-marriage, based on a school photo about a year old, so I aged him (he's now 8) ... a whiz at soccer and baseball, Mr. Popularity at school, a real sweetie; Mom is Irish- and French-American; his father is from Guatamala, so he's an interesting hybrid :)
