I tend to make things overly difficult for myself and find my eyes drifting towards rendering things that are riddiculously hard to draw right. The first one was a Light practice slapped into a composition. It was supposed to be more of an adult drawing but I figured if I didnt cut it off where I did, it would just be too much of a facefull of crotch :/ This is a male nude of an original character for fair warning; (Tacky lillies ftw) The second one...

I'd probally be a better speller if i had an english teacher like this. Or I'd be a worse one.This is cleary just a blueprint so far, of what this what this picture will look like.

Well, what does she expect coming to the classroom dressed like that? No I doubt the class won't be paying attention to their books, unless she's reading from it. Poor boys, imagine what will happen when she starts to read poetry. XDThe arms are very long and the hands somewhat small but you know what, they work. I wouldn't change anything. Oooo. I love the way you've mixed the desaturated tones of the hat and her skin with the supersaturated colours of her lips, her kimono and the background. The hat is *ahem* well, dammit, amazing. Love the tension in the chin strap/skin and the way you've just managed to hide her eyes from the viewer...so we're always trying to peer up under the edge of the hat. Critiques? Hmmm. That gorgeous bouncelight underneath her chin makes me wish there was a tiny bit of shine on the skin of her cheek. But's that nitpicking. I love this.

It's insane how much subtle texture is in the skin here. I can't begin to imagine how to do this with lascaux sketch, and it'd still be incredible regardless of the medium.
