There is no tool to smooth out a layer as such. You could select the droplet (blue) and the square tool. and select the entire layer. But i'm not sure if that will result into the desired effect. Maybe it will look way too blurred for what you're after. I have only used that combo in some of my abstract play drawings.

I absolutely love the tree, the background and everything except for umbrella creature (?) the picture is done in such a beautiful magical way, (once again the tree+background are gorgeous) i guess i just dont see this creature fitting. This is only my opinion though, great job overall :)

The coloring seems way too harsh. The highlights on their cheeks, for example, shouldn't be so intense.

I'm agreeing with Shanghai on the coloring. Looks like you went overboard with dodge and burn. The lines and coloring where you didn't do so much d&b are great looking by the way.

Great style and form, gorgeous eyes! It might benefit from more contrast, but I know how hard it is to do that without compromising the soft feeling.

thanks so much joyce :) and I know what you mean about the contrast and also trying to keep it soft .. I tried a few things to do exactly that but it started to look too harsh so I just stayed soft .. yeah I'm a softie :P
