oh this is beautiful!! the poem is great too, i actually sang a song with those words for as a solo a few years ago, my first thought when i saw this was that you had heard the song, it adds another level of meaning to the words as only music can. but this is an absolutely gorgeous painting and i hope you do more landscapes soon :)

"Enjoy".......I just noticed that you used quotation marks around the word "nightingale"......don't you know that you're not supposed to do that!!! That's being dishonest or "snarky"!!! "lol"! I don't even know what snarky means....haha! I just had to point that out.....because you seem to like to correct me when I use quotation marks.......:)

I just find your quotes-addiction funny. And to be honest, if you want to emphasize something quotation marks are useful. I should have put the quotes around Nachtegaal instead I think.Texts without punctuation and capitals are incredibly hard to read, those are usually written by kids, that is why I made the joke.

Using quotation marks is just a habit with me......it's not really an addiction.....it's just something I learned in school.....I've been using quotation marks all my life.....so it's gonna be difficult to stop using them.....but I'll give it a try....."lol"!! :D |
