I'm calling it unfinished 'cause there's something bugging me...I think I need to sharpen up the hills on the island and I just noticed that splotch of blue overlapping into the sand...whadda ya reckon?I quite like this picture though :) I'm particularly proud of the sky, I love the style I did it in (all watery) to pieces! I want to do more like that! |

Hmmm, I beg to differ on the goodness of all fishing memories.. once when I was a little girl, I was standing behind my dad as he cast his line. He whipped the rod back and the hook caught my finger. That hurt like crazy... and that's why I don't fish. And if getting hooked wasn't bad enough, he yelled at me for being in the way! So yeah.. some fishing memories are not that great. However... this is a very nice picture. Looks nice and tranquil there on the lake at night. |

I think I see what you did, here... each version is like a separate piece of work, a transformation from turbulence into calm. This was really a neat idea, and the final picture does give you a feeling of tranquility - although she does still look a little sad and hopeless.

thanks people, everybody is in america eh?....well, i´ve been in the states...4 times in my life...and have a real good "gringo" friend in Houston, he lived before in Chicago...so i know almost all the atlantic coast till canada, and in 1996 with my wife make a car travel from miami to las vegas...hey knockoff, do you remember in what area of the forums is the one that you mentioned?....thanks again...

Wow!! Your facial features are the best mooseflower. This one is no different. Very sad, but the picture still is awesome. The blood and tears are nice too.Beautiful coloring.

Hmmm, If the tree branches were done in watercolor, it would look better.keep it up though, because silhouettes rock.

that's a little harsh, Sart.the branches would look a lot better if you simply filled in the holes. and if you made the leaves semitransparent, this would be awesome.
