This makes me think of a movie that I saw once.....I can't remember the name of the movie, but it was all about surfing and huge waves like this one. Keanu and Patrick Swayze starred in the movie. Keanu was an undercover cop, and Patrick Swayze was the leader of this gang of bad guys. Keanu infiltrated their gang, and pretended to be one of the bad guys. The movie was awesome.....I wish I could remember the name of it. This huge wave made me think of that movie.......at the end...it showed Patrick Swayze riding his surfboard out to meet this gigantic huge wave....that would be the last wave that he would ever "ride"........Awesome draw!! :)

Well.....I googled it......the name of the movie that I was referring to is "Point Break". Awesome movie......I would recommend that everyone should see this movie. Patrick and Keanu do some awesome and dangerous stuff in this movie, and the big waves are awesome to see!! :)

I wasn't sure if I should post in Intermediate or not. I'm experienced with these sorts of paint programs, so if I put it in the wrong section sorry. I'm a huge fan of birds, so it was only natural my first image would be of a bird-type creature.

This is the view from my sunroom...for the most part. I put about 7-8 strings of lights on this evergreen tree about 4 yrs ago and of course, we just left them in all yr round.....This tree has been mighty happy for the past few seasons and has grown a good 5-6 ft since starting the lights SO today we decided to add more lights to its new growth...
I'm amazed at the brilliance of these new lights and the awesome color they put out!
The blue lights on the fence/arbor are a few yrs old so they've lost some of their brilliant blue and now take on more of an aqua blue which is beautiful in front of the tree!!
.....there's only one thing missing in this draw that's not here on purpose....I believe I live next to 'The Grizwalds' because in their very small front yard, which happens to be right next to our fence, lies an array of decorations....a whole mix of those wire kind with the lights attached in the shape of angels, lighted deer, lighted spiral trees, a lighted polar bear, a blow up penguin, a blown up ''Santa in a bed'' and to top it all off, Santa in a 'close to' life size hot air balloon, which just happens to be the closest deco to our beautiful tree/lights!! Talk about an eye sore!!!!! I really don't know if I can take that big, ole balloon thru Christmas!!!! So, I'll enjoy the drawing instead =) **oh! what's this??? a Bebe gun?? Hmmmmm..*rubs chin with thinking cap on**

Very pretty lights!!! You should see my neighbor's front yard.....he has more lighted decorations up than anyone on our street. It's really very pretty though.....he does this every year.....it seems like he adds a little bit more lights each year. My sister and I used to decorate our yard, but we don't have the energy to do it any more.....so I'll just have to be content to look at other people's decorations. I enjoy looking at your pretty lights Elly.....it puts me in a festive mood....:)

That sounds pretty in your tree elly. I can't stand those cluttery and gaudy displays some put up,particularly those inflatable things that lie like flat color splotches all day or until someone comes home and turns the pump on. They're so ugly

The Santa hot air balloon and blow up penguin are gone!!! Yippy!!!! I think they got damaged in the high winds we had yesterday! *happy dance*

thx, fire & dave =) I'm sitting in my sunroom as I type...it's an overcast morning so the lights are still sparkling nicely and there, just a hop, skip, and jump away lies a deflated hot air balloon, laying right over Santa's head, along side a deflated Santa and bed. SO SO UGLY! I'd be embarrassed to put up such a display! I'll stick to the pretty tasteful lights and maybe a few 'up lights' on some trees in the front yard, thank you.

wonderful jellyfish and great water.(I'm not good at seeing faces in things,but I see where you mean.)Hey,is it the Japanese "Happy Jellyfish day"??They have that holiday,ya know,and on some Oekaki sites,they celebrate it,by drawing jellyfish.This seems to be an "international site",so was just wondering.I liked it,"HappyJellyfish"Day,fun. Beats out the Easter Bunny.Great picture,more,more.
