yeah, great flesh and skin; which is not that easy, as skin and flesh tones vary around the world, and there are many tones unrelated; notice the gray areas?flesh covers the whole rainbow of coloring, even blue and green under the right circumstances. flesh is one of the hardest things to paint.--and also one of the richest, if you note great figure-painters thru history.I used to ignore YELLOW TONES, but now i have to admit, many skins have them.and we very white people are challenging to paint, as we have RUDDINESS to over come. (and ruddiness in our faces, which is why we very white folks have to make-up towards golds, oranges, coral, apricot.--to nullify redness.)When summer comes, i still take out the gold makeup, and oranges.(not much make up, i'm too old, hah.)good painting!!

Very nice artwork! I kinda makes me think of my 'younger days'.....when I enjoyed wearing these skimpy bikini's.....those were the good ole days.....I wish I could still fit into a bikini....'lol'!!! :P |
