That's what happens when you love with your head?

There are few lines that disturb me, but disturbance is the desired effect here.. anyways, it looks like a combination of angst and rage to me.

Looks great! I thought the legs looked a bit skinny at first, but you fixed them. Good job on the horse hair!

You got the Bob Ross artist kit didn't ya? I was going to get it, but it was a bit pricey. Nice drawing. Really does look like a painting.
montezmaria (Aug 16, 2010)
Thank you all for the comments. Wraith, that is cute...Bob Ross kit. I remember watching him do his paintings, speaking so soft..drove me nuts.
Teapot (edited Aug 19, 2010)
Is he the guy that was always saying things like 'happy little cloud'? He drove me nuts, too. He and Mr. Rogers were kinda creepy. This is beautiful, Ree. The sky makes me feel sad, though, the way you do in that moment when you realize that summer is over. Or when you've just gotten your tent pitched for a 2-week holiday and you suddenly know it's going to rain for the entire time.

Its a throat. Those are the vocal cords and the uvula. And i guess you have a really nasty infection with some pustules in the cheeks.

Black_Bird (Aug 22, 2010)
I like how crisp the waves look with the suns reflection.
elly (Aug 22, 2010)
Oh very beautiful! I love the simplicity of it and the fact that you brought a few gulls into and below the horizon giving it more depth. If I had drawn this, I would have found it impossible for me not to dodge that sun burst with the dodge tool lightly..LOL!) Very nice work! You're coming along nicely!
sassy109 (Aug 22, 2010)

Finish later, I could do a better job I think. But I've got so much crap in my gallery I'll never get them all finished to a standard I'll be happy with, so out with the old and in with the new.

Miss_DJ (Aug 21, 2010)
I really like this, Itchy! It has an old world Aztecean feel to it. Nice! (and I'm flattered...♥♥♥♥)

Just checking in again to see if this has been showcased yet. Admins must be on holidays...or sleeping or something.

I agree.....this is a showcase draw.....
shults (Aug 19, 2010)
Hi Itchy, Iv'e just watched your gallery at "The Art of Richard Clarke" (who I now guess is you) and enjoyed every piece there.
I loved the Wombah Station, Liverpook creek and also the small falls. :)
itchymonkey (edited Aug 21, 2010)
thanks for the 'votes' ;D.......@shults.. yeah thats me..you can see i ve been at detail/texture awhile now....some of those paintings took weeks, months, years so 6 or 20 hrs dont really compare................might have to give that site an overhaul...........
