Woo hoo. a failed picture. I was going for a picture of a dear friend of mine and I but allas I drew myself too big and I couldn't fix his face in with out it making it look very retarded and he deserves more credit than that. So you guys are stuck with another picture of just me. -_-'

Those eyes of your are gorgeous. You have a real knack for soft, realistic shading--and I think you've captured yourself quite well.

The shading on the skin around the lips and nose are absolutely perfect here, and the eyes shine as if they were real- it makes the image pop off of the screen a bit. Lovely. |

Damn, this got pushed off the front page quick. Is it just me or has there been a lot of cutsie draws lately, mainly by newcomers doing a lot of (yes, I'm gonna rant here) doodle draws? What happened to the gut's of 2draw? We have to take back the boards people.It's an interesting draw Deeva, dark and sparce. Shows raw emotion, and just the colors grab you. Looks like someone trapped in a womb (I know, sounds strange, it's what I see) Nice to see you back sweeting.

I second the rant. Art is more than Sailor Moon and My Little pony, darnit. Sometimes art comes from raw unadulterated emotion and inexplicable inner turmoil. Sometimes no one really 'gets' it but the person who made it. I do like the 'womb' analogy though, it's pretty on the mark for what I was feeling at the time. Thanks for 'getting' it. ;) I think just to counteract all that gloom 'n' doom I'm going to have to do a tribute to Unicorns crapping out rainbow candy hearts in a field of pink fluffy winged bunnies with a big smiling sun next time. LOL. |

I drink cokes, beer, and other bad for you drinks at night... Coffee in morning to wake up...Then I wash away all that junk during day with 1 or 2 - 1.5 L bottles of water. |

Thanks much for comments guys..still messing around and testing the tools..I set the d button (bottom left corner) somewhere in the 50's or 60's for that grainy look..Really like its dry-brush feel..

Thanks. This is actually a step back into my old style. Black & white. Color has always been a bit of a problem. I work with it though. I do have an Idea for the background, but haven;t been up to doing it yet. Red is in there though, just to let you know. :}

(Has someone posted stuffs like this? If they do, sorry >_<) What do you think, people? Digital paintings are really beautiful, full of colors and wonderful effects.. and somethings looks so real! But I prefer paint by hand.. it's more simple but more original.. if someone do a VERY beautiful paint in digital colors, ok, it'll be amazing But when someone do the same painting by hand... WOW!! That's amazing a lot!!! So? Do you think we can talk too much about this? (sorry the bad english...
