Well.. we lost quite a few pictures due to server issues when his celloness made a switch.. but mostly all in one period of time.. try looking at some of the other pics and see if you can see those |

Damn, this got pushed off the front page quick. Is it just me or has there been a lot of cutsie draws lately, mainly by newcomers doing a lot of (yes, I'm gonna rant here) doodle draws? What happened to the gut's of 2draw? We have to take back the boards people.It's an interesting draw Deeva, dark and sparce. Shows raw emotion, and just the colors grab you. Looks like someone trapped in a womb (I know, sounds strange, it's what I see) Nice to see you back sweeting.

I second the rant. Art is more than Sailor Moon and My Little pony, darnit. Sometimes art comes from raw unadulterated emotion and inexplicable inner turmoil. Sometimes no one really 'gets' it but the person who made it. I do like the 'womb' analogy though, it's pretty on the mark for what I was feeling at the time. Thanks for 'getting' it. ;) I think just to counteract all that gloom 'n' doom I'm going to have to do a tribute to Unicorns crapping out rainbow candy hearts in a field of pink fluffy winged bunnies with a big smiling sun next time. LOL. |

Hey, thanks. Kanji is always a challenge for me- not being Japanese at all, I'm always scared I'm going to mislay a stroke and it'll mean something else entirely! I saw that happen on a guy's tattoo once- terrible, terrible.

I'm truly enjoying your pieces, damn that's some fine lattice work. Very bambooish (yes, it's a word, now that I've made it up. X}) The highlights behind the figure, the lettering. Beautiful.Poppa Poppa, and all this time I thought you knew everything, because, y'know, your old. Click on Text, click where in your pic you want to place it, write your name, see if it's the right color, size, placement, lettering, click ok and Bob's Your Uncle. Now if someone can tell me how to set fonts in Oekaki I'll be a happy woman.

Are you talking about PaintBBS? Heck, I really don't understand the font tool in that program at all. I guess that's why I keep coming back to the 2draw board- even though I play around on a few others Oekakis, this is my very favorite one on the net. Lascaux just seems so much more refined and easy to use than the other programs- it's made me spoiled. |

I've always had a weird fascination with those little red chop-marks at the bottom corner of old Chinese art pieces. (That and I needed somewhere to doodle while I was on terminal hold with the insurance agency...sweet holy Jeebus those people are slow!!!) ;)

(Upon discovering his multitude of intricately dealt deceits, she howled with resounding fury into the hollow unforgiving night.)18+ for blatant abuse of ta-tas and hint of poon-tang thrown in for good measure. Hmm... this might fall more in the category of 'disturbing' than 'distorted', but I gave it my best shot. ;) I very loosely followed another piece of my own offline art as a ref - I haven't posted it anywhere yet because it's not quite finished. I'll toss the original up on DeviantArt when it decides to behave itself. |
