This is a daily(or nightly)sight here. I haven't figured out how to draw the water yet,and would welcome any advice!

Where is "here", Alaska? Anyway I am still new at all of this, but I just played around with different blues, blended them together, added a little white and then sharpened on the "reflections" on top of the water. I hope that helps a little :)
davincipoppalag (Nov 20, 2004)
Yea..that's a good way to start. I think everyone does it a bit differently, but you have to play around to see which way works best for you.

Wow! That's really good----it's hard to add depth to a flat surface, but you did it.
spiritdweller (edited Nov 16, 2004)
I dunno why.. but when I stare at this... tones of purple show up in between the white and black lines...coool....
Pantera (Nov 17, 2004)

This reminds me of the scene in "The Battle of the Bulge" where the train is entering the tunnel trying to speed some artillery to the Allies and a Tiger tank is sitting at the end of the tunnel and fires in as the train is approaching.. (I know, I know.. I'm a weird old guy)

Meh.. o.o;; I can't finish right now, but it will be a Wolf character(for RP) named Moonlight.
How does it look so far?
Nuu! ;__; Now it won't let me finish this drawing either, because of limited space or whatever... How do you request more space?

Whoa this looks really cool..
How did you do it?
dugout (Nov 11, 2004)
Totally awesome! Reminds me of a white wolf that I saw years ago.
Animegirl250 (Nov 12, 2004)
Hey it looks like Kiba from Wolf's Rain! Thats so cool!
MoonlitShadow (Nov 13, 2004)
I did it by drawing darkish lines for the fur, then blurring it, the drawing more lines on top...
And you've seen a Wolf in real life before?! With blue eyes too? Wolves do not have blue eyes but for when they are pups..
And it's not Kiba, Kiba has gold eyes, like a normal wolf.. The wolf in this picture, named Moonlight, was created as an RP character way before Wolf's Rain came out, and she has powers o_O; Woo
