Queen Pelosi, when she ascended her throne,of United States of Pelosi;with pet mascot, taxpayer funded private jet that takes her everywhere.Wearing Balenciaga suit,Tahitian pearl earrings.Face by expensive asthetic plastic surgeon.(not finished yet.I have to rest, really tired, have much to do on this,be back later.can't do half hour yet.sorry, just started.)
firecracker (Nov 25, 2009)
I'm not really familiar with "Queen Pelosi".....I've heard of her, but don't know much about her, but I really like this draw....it's really well done, and I think it's cool!!! :)
Suntan (Nov 26, 2009)
A piece o work, great job.
firecracker (Nov 26, 2009)
She also looks a little bit like Hilary Clinton....:)
dorothyblueeyes (Dec 1, 2009)
thanks,I'm dissappointed that I did not absolutely nail her as far as portraiture;yeah, she does not look exactly like Pelosi,I tried to draw her off the web,and got sick of her really white-bread features;not very characteristic of anything, and it was hard, and I tried too hard, and I've done much better likenesses of people before. They try to look so PERFECT,you have to study someone like this,a long time, and not just do a quick pic;like trying to draw a loaf of soft white bread, nothing interesting. The rich are really different, they can look young, wasp,or perfect, they can afford it. |

I just found out,I'm gonna have one or two turkeys, this year,so I'm lookin at that orange, thinking(it's beautiful, very skillful)of stuffing some of it into the foreskin/breast of the turkey,to soak orange juice into the breast as it roasts;baste it with orange jucie.ha ha. Great picture!!
Flubbles (Nov 23, 2009)
I thought firecracker talked alot but you really take the biscuit.I dont think you'll stuff much into a turkey foreskin, i doubt there penises are that big.
enjoydotcom (Nov 23, 2009)
Flubbles, are you a born Brit? On topic, that foreskin reply had me laugh my head nearly off.
Flubbles (Nov 23, 2009)
Yarp i've lived here all my life, i had a conversation with somebody recently about why i dont use many british euphemisms, and i explained that it's because i'm always having to explain myself when i do so i try to keep them to a minimum. Then they made me prove that i'm british by using some. |

In both of your self-portraits......you look so "serious"......do you ever smile?? I'm not "knocking" your pics.....they are both really good, but I'm just wonderin' if you look that "serious" all the time in real life.....:)
Flubbles (Nov 23, 2009)

...and so it was. They bid farewell to the man with the unusually large zipper tab, a man they had come to know simply as, Rodger A. Harrington.
Suntan (Nov 21, 2009)
Hahaha!...the unusually large zipper tab..lol..this is a pretty awesome drawing, I hope you do more. Would like to see where Rodger is headed. ^^
jekyll (Nov 21, 2009)
Just gaze upon the heavens tonight and I'm sure you'll see a brand new star as the sun gleams from that unusually large zipper tab......Farewell, Rodger!.....Let's hope it doesn't rain........let's really hope!
marcello (Nov 21, 2009)
do you write first or draw first?
Axil62 (Nov 21, 2009)
Good question. Normally I know what the caption or at least the general idea is going to be, but in this case I drew first and then thought of what to write. |

this is neat, it has a glossed over, yet texturey feel... nice
dorothyblueeyes (Nov 21, 2009)
yes,it looks so easy to have done this, graceful, but not really easy;it just looks easy.yumm.I'd really like to do celestial pictures from the Hubble Telescope, but that is so ambitious, and I don't know how to call those pix up,and see them, and copy them on the 'software at the same time,as models.Yes,celestial bodies would be great, with this software.
