or, it's somewhere out in the fields of Oregon, because we have beef out here too.but this is such beautiful beef, I wouldn't want to eat it! What a fantastic picture, wonderful.
Song (May 12, 2010)
It looks amazing, great detail.. Still looks a bit chilly on the picture, wich fits the time of spring when lambs are born.. Way to go!

A still developing portrait of me hatching from the horrible past that's held me confined in a rotten eggshell as i am reborn and ascend into the sun and the future.

yeah,I'm old,and I learned one thing;you don[t get better,you just get OLD. HA HA."OLD AGE SUCKS"
Flubbles (May 8, 2010)
It annoys me when people complain of old age, you should be thankful you've made it to such an advanced age.
lynnandcharlie (May 8, 2010)
I am 66 and am probably one of the oldest here
firecracker (May 8, 2010)

I love the finished results, great painting
Teapot (edited Mar 14, 2010)
I'm glad you're trying watercolour because I think the medium would lend itself to your style. If you can find it, there is a book by a woman I think you would really like. It's called 'How to Make a Watercolor Paint Itself' by Nita Engle. Thanks for sharing your class paintings. It takes awhile to work out all the properties of the different pigments--transparent, opaque, staining, etc. Then you have to play with working wet in wet, wet on dry, dry on dry, and refine your lost and found edge technique. It's hard and frustrating but also the most fun and magical when it works, IMO.

Something like this, Teapot? :)

Mmmm! Nice interplay of the warm and cool colours together! I got the sense of a forest fire. I am liking how you keep the movement and looseness with your paints. Though I can admire the control achieved, I don't find myself liking watercolours that get too 'tight', too detailed. This painting has a nice balance of a little detail with a lot of impression.

the site is using the old Java for aplets, like chibi paint, and everyone else on the web is using the new Java version;since I have the new one,the site has not renewed to the new Java,I cannot use Chibi paint,it will not work, not use the new Java.I'm not dumping the new Java, just casue this site is not up to date on new Java version, when it's necessary for use on the web.Computer experts have all advised me,use the new Java version, and not the old one, even though chibi paint requires it.So,guys, get this site up to date, for installing the New Sun Microsystems Java aplet,so we can be in this century,ok?thanks tons.

In both of your self-portraits......you look so "serious"......do you ever smile?? I'm not "knocking" your pics.....they are both really good, but I'm just wonderin' if you look that "serious" all the time in real life.....:)

Somehow my seedlings have not turned out this way at all,I guess I need to make a referral to the local eyebank;I[m only growing spinach and lettuce, and some dill,so maybe they don;t need to see which direction they[re going, they still always face the sun.wow, good pic of yer garden!

Nice! When you did the trees, were you 'dotting' them or did u use the scattering option? Love the fog effect!
lynnandcharlie (May 4, 2010)
I was dotting them, I used the scattering tool on part of the grass, and thanks for the nice comments
