HaHa! GOT YA! The answer is that the scientific name for a frog in general is bufo bufo. So calling a frog a BUFOon would, technically speaking, be correct!

Except it's spelled 'buffoon.' :PAnother reason that calling a frog a buffoon would be appropriate is because 'buffoon' is derived from the Latin word which means "to puff," which is what frogs are known to do with their mouths. (get all puffed up) rrrrrribbit. ;) |

Anyone who can tell me why the name is so ironic/funny gets a cookie. wait. If you're smart enough to figure it out, a cookie probally isn't gunna cut it. sooo how about 2 requests AND a cookie?

bast is the egyptian goddess of cats, whom is merried to the said creator of the world, and the egyption gods, he is the wanderer of the sands and he is a bearer of a star filled gaze. hence its ironic for a DOG too have the name of a CAT. woot, cookie for me. P.S. i love trivia
