I started off by painting this with pastels..... i wanted to see if i could do it on here as well.... guess i can.... i don't know if it looks better or worse... :P

there is not supposed to be a lot of detail..... it's a different type of art.... it kinda let's u fill in the details....

This picture kind of reminds me of the time that I was down in Panama and there was this beautiful sunset with the sun setting over the ocean and you could see it's reflection in the water. it started out as something else but i gave up and did this instead....lol and this is only my second painting, i think i'm kind of getting used to this place...

:) i really like this one too :) try and blend using laceux sketch (i like that program the most) i really helps :) *stares at latest art done by self*you can also blur and burn your work ;) try that too

Oekaki-Shi works for blending too. I think it's better for beginners. Meaning I'm still a beginner? No, I just hate Lascaux =P

lol @ Shmoopy. I like Oekaki-Shi too. Lascaux is OK, it's just that Oekaki works better for me. It all depends on the person. This is neat. I thought at first it was an orange floating on water lol like in a bowl and this is just a transparent view of it. lol

hehe yea.. thanx... i tried to make some water in bewtween the reflection and the actual sun. i like Oekaki-Shi too, it just works better for me. less buttons...lol. yea.. well that is my first sunset drawing on here... i might try to do another one later when i've had more expirence with this site.. |

A lot of pink, woot. Pink rocks. Anyways, I used a reference for the snake, can you guess what kind of snake it is? Do you see anything that I should work on in this?All i really needed to work on was the skin tones, and I think that that was all that needed to be fixed.

erm...any ideas on how to make good bloodstains/effects? any help would be thanked deeply.. *or in any sort of gore*(the drawing itself isnt good... just experimanting)

i think you got the blood stain part down its just maybe where the wounds are on the neck and side of the face you could make it look more bloody like maybe a little more red cuz it kinda just looks like bruises unless that was what you were going for then good job lol but its stil good in my opinion

you got the bloodstains down, but the ones one the face and neck need to be a bit more red, the darker ones like on the shirt are for clothes, but lighter coloration would be better for skin. that's my opinion and based on what i've seen though. |

This one is probably the best one, I'd say, you've done so far. The dark background really goes well with the dark shadows on his suit and the way you highlighted parts as well, really makes this picture look great.

It's Cianteed's work that gave it depth etc. But the lineart, my precious lineart, was made up first by drawing it on paper. >> woot. VV, I agree. But they're hot. XD
