Sje's so dark, if you just go back slightly with a few subtle highlights around her body and reflect the blue from the crystal it would really make her stand out better. Love that eye, crystal, and those feathers. I just I could see more of her.

When you scream at your muse "Give me some damn inspiration." and she's too busy sitting in front of the boob tube watching 'Who Wants to be a Dancing Millionaire Lost on an Island', drinking a mocha latte...... you gotta kick her off her butt and force something outta her. Don't worry, something will come, we all go through it at some point. Take Dave's advice, just let the pen go and see what happens. :)

I agree. Lately I have been drawing half assed. But once in a while my right brain will take over and I will be able to draw something worth taking a peek at or having a good laugh at.

All the stuff I've been doing lately is terrible. I can't think of anything to draw at all, or I have good ideas, but I can't draw them. I totally know how you feel and it really sucks.
I like the blues in this, the eyes are a little scary. :)

It's been a long time but still, here I am, thinking of you and missing you. You're gone and sometimes I wonder if you didn't take me with you. Something in me died when you left. I'm still here but I'm just a shell of the man I used to be. You made me feel whole, now I feel broken and useless. Can you believe it? I must be some kind of idiot to still be lingering to you (us). You probably think I'm nuts. I've tried just about everything to forget you or at the very least, I've tried not to feel anything for you but it would appear I've failed. I've tried replacing you, that hasn't worked out either. This is certainly some type of hell I've got myself into, I've tried so hard to forget you and let you go but there seems to be unlimited reminders of you everywhere. You'll probably never know I feel this way and even if you did, you'd tell me to let it go and move on. Don't think I haven't tired and will still try but for now, I just feel miserable and helpless without you. All I can do is complain and draw out my frustrations. I'm just another love sick idiot who can't seem to move on.

That's a hard place to be, but eventually you will move on. Been there, done that...more than once, too. This piece has that nodescript , vague, emptiness to it.

That's a refreshing image, I like your description too. So many people claim the timer adds minutes, you rarely hear about it subtracting time. It took Michelangelo over 4 years to paint the ceiling of Sistine Chapel, I've never heard someone say of his masterpiece "sheesh, 4 years? what a slacker" or "psshh, I could have done that in like 2 years". My point being, who cares how long it took, it's the end result that matters.
