National Homeless Animals Day

August 18th- National Homeless Animals Day. ~ Every year on August 18th, many animal shelters hold events to help out some of the many animals out there that desperately need homes. These are such as; adopt-a-thons, Pet food drives, educational speeches and so on. Click here to read about some of the events they held this year. ~ Ref Used ~ Hm, I thought that the grayscale worked pretty well. Em, just so you know, I didn't attempt it to look exactly like the ref. I was trying out a lineart/realism kind of style. I've never done that before, so it was pretty fun! ^^ Enjoy.

Ahhh poor Tokyomewmew :( Hey I like this character, It's really cute. I am not really one to critisize, but your drawing could use a bit smaller line thickness. Other than that, it is a GREAT drawing for beginner level. I should know, I am still in beginner level. I am working on one drawing that I think could be Intermediate, but it's not finished yet because it is not at all near Intermediate. Keep drawing Tokyo! Practice makes perfect!

I don't completely understand where I'm going or what I'm trying to accomplish. I don't think far into the future or anything. Right now I'm not even sure of everything that going on around me. I don't know why I do the things I'm doing. I don't think I'm enjoying myself either. Though I do find enjoyment in little things like sipping a glass of a fine drink at just the right time of day and weather. Or listening to a classic tune while relaxing and smoking some bud in a favourite spot. Will these things help accelerate my growing and learning? Probably not. But I don't know what I'm growing towards so what do I do? I don't know, but I'm really not motivated to find out, or do anything of the sort.

Your description made me write a long comment (which eventually I chose to delete) about similar feelings Ive had.. I believed it helped me in some way (cause I got to the future me in all my philosophy) although Im still not sure who i'll become. Anyways, thanks.Now, as for your art, I liked it, or else I wouldnt have read your description. Red colors and skeleton face contributes its muscular feel. It's like you peeled the skin.. :) Plus, for some reason, I really like his right elbow. I think its perfect. |

Hmmn, I have to say that this picture looks bettter than previous work you have done. Indeed. Other than that, the time you spend on a drawing DOES NOT determine weather it is beginner/Intermediate/Advanced.

I drew this while having a memo conversation. I just kept blending warm colors together between typing memos, it was awful fun. I know, who cares? But man, I like this little doodle.

Eh, I wouldn't say it's "good" but I'm glad you appreciate it. I like it because the process was fun but the end result is a bit blah. My gallery would be full of these types of paintings if I actually submitted everything I draw on here. |
