Gigge (Jul 14, 2004)
I just wanted to thank you for doing this picture. I've gone through the versions several times trying to learn your technique for doing hair and it's helped so much. The way you saved the versions makes this like a mini tutorial. Thank you!!

:D
im glad i could help..and i know what you mean. i learned alot about the possibilities of digital art from watching animations in shi painter.

Ooooooh... very pretty! I always wondered what that little s is for.. is that what did this?
Gigge (Jun 24, 2004)
Hehehe, the little 's'. Would be nice to get some instructions/tutorials with the Lascaux ;). This looks a little like Skittles meets M&Ms...the rainbow of flavor that won't melt in your hands. Very cute.
laurael (Jun 24, 2004)
Ha...cool, and I think that 's' stands for 'space'...as in, instead of a solid line? The more you move it to the right, the more spacing in between the line you get...or something like that. :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 24, 2004)
This is too cooley, fooley. I'm gonna go play tools now!!! :D

from another photo of mine..i actually took this in a sweet bright room on a sunny day...a friend enhanced it, and i thought it looked eerie, and still, like the sun was dying..in any case its cool

Looks like the beginning of a sunny day to me. :) (And the bed is already made!, the maid was here!)
emmamommalag (Jun 22, 2004)
I agree with Deadly.. it looks like a sunny morning. For some reason, it makes me think of Andrew Wyeth's "Master Bedroom." Yours is more colorful and no dog, though. Anyway, this is a nice picture. I like the diffused sunlight shining on the coverlet.
Kasha (Jun 22, 2004)
I'll sleep on that any day. *lays*

nice pic. I like the colors. very warm and humble.

ewww. that's gross. hehe. Someone online gave me that link and I kept laughing.
I haven't seen any of those bugs in Houston, but we do get June bugs here. :( omg, they are so fat and creepy.
safescene (Jun 3, 2004)
Yuck, june bugs are creepy, Kasha *shudders* They hiss and stuff..man, I hate those things :P

Nifty stuff, Icats. That bug's colors are really vibrant and cool, although I don't believe I'd want one flying around me if they're that huge :P The best part of this entire piece are the cheeks; I love 'em!
misterjimsan (Jun 3, 2004)
oo yea, this is cool
and i love cicadas, so enormous and insanely loud, ah yes, but it's all good for atmosphere on a nice summer day by the lake getting eaten up by mosquitos

Hey, if anyone wants to know how the Admiral got this medal, check out the lengthy animation. I drew what happened frame by frame! I tried to draw really fast so it wouldn't be too boring!

HJ (May 17, 2004)
Beautiful! And I love deep purples as well. He is gorgeous. This horse must be the color-changing horse from the Wizard of Oz. :3

Icats is allowed as many styles as she likes... This is very well done. The lighting has that early morning on a hot day feel to it..very nice.
PhenyLALAnine (May 13, 2004)
This is beautiful, reminds me of my holidays. Very well done!
MaLynne (May 13, 2004)

emmamommalag (May 13, 2004)
This is so pretty. I like the mix of style.. it makes the bougainvillea stand out. The whole picture gives a wonderful feeling.

When I was younger, I would have a reoccuring dream of wormlike colors moving and twisting on a white screen, taking up my whole frame of vision. For some reason it petrified me. Then all the worms/threads would be gone with one left in the center of the screen and I would feel ok. So I decided to draw something of how it looked. My dreams have never been very lucid, and I'm envious of anyone who has realistic dreams, or can control what happens during sleep. I'm rarely aware that I am dreaming at all, and once or twice have confused something that I thought had happened in reality with a dream. Make sense? Oh well........*zzz*

this gets a 3 out of 10 on my pink scale, there is some strands of purplish pinkish stuff, but it gets a definite 10 outta 10 on my you do acid before you sleep scale! good job
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 5, 2004)
This totally freaks me out, Staci... I had the same kind of dreams, only my thingies were all fluorescent green, like those things you break and they glow in the dark. They wiggled and squirmed and were horrible, even though logically they shouldn't have been scary at all. One night when I was about five I dreamed there was a racoon fishing with them.... how crazy is that?
arisuki (May 6, 2004)
Wow...this is pretty cool! My dreams are so...bizarre. Yet realistic in a way.
I dream of things like jumping off a bunkbed and flying...
Or swimming through a sea of thoughts.
LovelyLori (May 6, 2004)
I can't say I've ever had a dream like this.... I am one of those realistic dreamers... I fly alot... and one time I was swimming in an olympic sized pool with an elephant and a snake.... go figure...

Yes, those tendrils are perfect! Awesome picture.

Princess Lily was hot, she's much better evil than nice. I'd tkae Tim Curry over Tom Cruise if I were her, too.
